Guthrie Big Bird Fly-In 05
About 12 of out members attended this event to fly or just check out the airplane. That were plenty of beautiful planes displayed and flown. The winds did get up as the day progressed, however, these big birds didn't seem to be affected by the wind. Thunderstorms threatened in the afternoon that sent many packing. Strong winds, rain and hail did hit around 5 pm, of course I was home by then. Here are photos of some of the action of the day. Kenny again captured the crowd with the flight of his C-130.
